The Sea Lord Aislinn DLC pack introduces the master High Elf naval tactician Aislinn as a playable Legendary Lord for Immortal Empires and Custom Battles. Commanding the High Elf Sea Patrol, Aislinn is the tip of the spear in Ulthuan’s efforts to drive forward and expand its interests.

To the nobility of Ulthuan, Aislinn is a regrettable necessity.

None deny his peerless tactical acumen or naval expertise. Indeed, without his masterful stewardship of the waters around Ulthuan, the Asur would surely fall to the predations of the Dark Elves and Norscans. But he executes his office with such ruthless zeal, many find his methods… distasteful.

In the face of such desperate peril as Ulthuan faces, they may not agree with Aislinn’s methods, but they certainly cannot argue against their effectiveness. His deft command of the legendary Dragonships, and the formidable fighting forces they bring to bear, is Ulthuan’s best hope of defence in this time of turmoil.

Unique mechanic: Dragonship Fleets
The High Elf Sea Patrol does not develop settlements in the usual fashion. They command Dragonships: vast, self-sufficient vessels capable of developing their own infrastructure, economy and military buildings. They provide support and recruitment services for any friendly craft within their circle of influence, but they are also formidable assault vessels, from which Aislinn and his Generals stage major land assaults. Aislinn begins play with a single Dragonship in his fleet, but as his occupation broadens, more can be added to his command.

Unique mechanic: Asur Occupation
Aislinn is single-minded in his desire to crush the enemies of Asur. When dealing with enemies abroad, the vast number of defeated territories are transferred to one of the other High Elf factions to manage. He retains some building rights, however, and can develop Sea Patrol Outposts, which benefit his naval forces, in these regions. He holds no interest in controlling lands of his own but still serves the Phoenix King by also establishing Elven colonies at key locations across the world. Both of these limited settlement types also generate resources.

Unique Mechanic: Asur Domination
Over time, Aislinn accrues new knowledge from his Sea Patrol Outposts. This can be used to gain a range of benefits for his Outposts, Colonies and Dragonships. As Aislinn establishes more Sea Patrol Outposts that he dedicates to any major Elven faction, he can requisition assistance from their leader, including higher-tier units and army buffs.

New units:
Aislann’s forces are uniquely suited to swift coastal strikes. Along with the standard High Elf roster, he has access to the following new units:
