Product Description
10. During coagulation of a sol with an electrolyte, the data on the change in the partial concentration n given in Table 6.6 were obtained. Calculate the constants k and θ of the Smoluchowski kinetic equation and the particle distribution curves of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd orders. Calculate the theoretical value of the coagulation rate constant and check the applicability of Smoluchowski's theory to the coagulation of the studied sols. Coagulation was studied at a temperature of 298 K. The viscosity of the dispersion medium is 1*10-3 Pa*s.
