8. When determining vanadium by the addition method, a 0.5000 g sample of steel was dissolved, and the volume of the solution was brought to 50 ml. Then 20 ml aliquots of the solution were collected in two 50 ml measuring flasks. A sample of vanadium containing 0.0030 g of metal was added to one of them, and the volume of the solution was brought to the mark and photometrically measured. The optical density values were 0.200 and 0.483, respectively. Calculate the percentage of vanadium in steel.
