Product Description
8. Based on the oxidation state of chlorine in the compounds HCI, HCIO3, HCIO4, determine which of them is only an oxidizing agent, only a reducing agent, and which one can exhibit both oxidizing and reducing properties. Why? Based on the electronic equations, arrange the coefficients in the reaction equation following the scheme:
KBr KBrO3 H2SO4 → Br2 K2SO4 H2O
KBr KBrO3 H2SO4 → Br2 K2SO4 H2O
