Product Description
4. To obtain sulfur oxide, the initial mixture is fed into the fluidized bed furnace:
sulfur pyrite with FeS2 concentration - 80% wt.
excess air from stoichiometry is - 150% wt.
Pyrite throughput - 1250 kg/h
Calculate the reaction mixture if the conversion of iron sulfide was 95% wt.
4FeS2 + 11O2 → 8SO2 + 2Fe2O3
