Product Description
Calculate the diameter and height of the absorber nozzle for capturing component A from the air by the absorber B. Also calculate the absorption flow rate in m3/h, if the flow rate of the gas mixture under operating conditions V (m3/h) with the concentration of component A un (%, volume), the degree of capture is ( % ). The concentration of component A in the absorber B at the inlet to the absorber Xn = 0, and at the outlet is n % of the maximum possible under these conditions, i.e. from the equilibrium with the incoming gas. The equation of the equilibrium line has the form Y* = f(X), where Y[kmol A/kmol of air], X [kmol A/kmol B]. The gas velocity in the absorber w (m/s), the mass transfer coefficient KX [kmol A/(m2 ч h км kmol A/kmol B)], the wettability coefficient of the nozzle = 0.88. As a nozzle, ceramic Raschig rings with a size of 25x25x3, a pressure in the column P (MPa) and a temperature of 20 oC are used. Give a schematic diagram of the absorber and a Y-X phase diagram. (The initial calculated data are given in Table 3)
Additional Information
The initial data for the 12 options are given in the picture, there are other options available. The solution is made in the Word editor with a set of formulas. The task is performed as part of the control work on buttermilk in Omsk. After payment, we guarantee to receive a file with this task.
