In addition to educational material, the book contains biographical stories about leading musicians of this direction (55 performers in total). The theory is illustrated with qualitative examples of varying degrees of complexity (more than 200 song compositions). The unconditional merit of the author is that he completely abandoned academic seriousness and speaks to young people in a clear and accessible language, with a fair amount of humor. Actually, the reader does not feel that he is being taught, although he gets enough knowledge of the theory and technique of playing the guitar. The book is of interest not only for guitarists, but also for all people interested in Russian Chanson-style music, a bard song and urban folklore.
