=======================================
Developed by id Software—the studio that pioneered the first-person shooter genre and created the Deathmatch multiplayer mode—the legendary DOOM returns as a brutally fun and challenging modern shooter. Relentless demons, incredibly destructive guns, and fast-paced movement make for intense, memorable combat—whether you're plunging into the depths of Hell in the single-player campaign or competing in various multiplayer modes. The included DOOM SnapMap editor lets you easily create your own levels, playtest them, and share them with DOOM fans around the world.

You know why you’re here. A massive research facility belonging to the Union Aerospace Corporation on Mars has been overrun by fierce, merciless demons intent on conquering our world, and only one man stands in their way. You are a lone DOOM Marine, humanity's last hope. You must destroy them all.

• Relentless Campaign. There is no time to take cover or wait for your health to regenerate. You must halt the onslaught of raging hellspawn at any cost. Wield a vast arsenal of weapons—ranging from futuristic tech to classics from the series' past—alongside a host of upgrades and melee combat moves that let you knock down, slice, stomp, crush, and tear enemies apart in a multitude of bloody and inventive ways.
• Multiplayer in the best tradition of id Software. Dominate your opponents in the fast-paced arena combat that is the hallmark of the DOOM series. Experience both classic and all-new multiplayer modes: take down enemies using lightning-fast reflexes, powerful weaponry, vertical movement, and unique power-ups that allow you to transform into a demon.
• Limitless possibilities. DOOM SnapMap—a flexible yet easy-to-use level and game mode editor—ensures endless variety, regardless of your platform. Even novice creators can quickly and easily design their own levels, utilize existing game modes, or build entirely new ones.
