16. A 0.233 g sample of limestone was dissolved in dilute HCl, ammonium oxalate was added, and the pH was adjusted to the level necessary for quantitative precipitation of calcium oxalate. The precipitate was filtered, washed to remove excess oxalate, and dissolved in dilute sulfuric acid. 26.7 ml of 0.120 N KMnO4 solution were used for titration of oxalic acid. Calculate the percentage of calcium oxide in the sample.
