Product Description
2. Prepare 100 ml of an alcohol solution containing 0.0250 g of dissolved rutin. We took 5 ml of the prepared solution, added 45 ml of alcohol to it and obtained 50 ml of the measured solution. The optical density A of the measured solution was determined on a spectrophotometer at a wavelength λ=362.5 nm in a cuvette with an absorbing layer thickness l=1 cm, which is equal to 0.797. Calculate the percentage of rutin C27H30O16*3H2O in the analyzed solution if the molar extinction coefficient of rutin in the measured solution at λ=362.5 nm is equal to 21600 l∙mol-1∙cm-1.
