Power supply project for the gas cooling unit (GCU) of the compressor station.
According to the Electrical Installation Code, the gas cooling area belongs to the explosion-hazardous zones of category B-1.
The consumers of electricity at the GCU site are the motors of the fans of the air-cooled gas units, which belong to the second category in terms of reliability of the power supply. The power supply for the electric motors of the GCU is provided by a two-transformer KTP-10/0.4 kV, with a transformer capacity of 1000 kVA. Control cabinets SHU (NKU-UE-02), supplied complete with the GCU and installed in the GCU of the GCU, are used as starting and protection equipment. For local control of the fans at the GCU site, control buttons of the KU92 type are installed.
The project includes working lighting for the GCU site.
The main light sources are lamps with DRL lamps installed on the building structures of the GCU site.
The project also includes protective grounding and lightning protection for the GCU.
