Product Description
2. To 20 ml of cane sugar solution (C12H22O11) containing 200 g/l, the same volume of hydrochloric acid solution was added. Determine the rate of sugar inversion at 25 C at the initial time and when 75% of the sugar has reacted. Take the reaction rate constant equal to 9.67*10-3 min-1. When calculating the molar concentration of sugar, take into account the dilution of the solution with acid by half.
